Mutual Assistance Groups

I've seen a lot of so-called 'groups' over the years and the many complications that come with them. The idea of bugging out and having a team or group have no universal rules or guidelines with respect to their creation/expectations/maintenance/etc. There's also endless concerns with group members: people not putting in their weight, drama amongst members, not taking the preparedness seriously and so forth.
Lately, 'groups' relating to preparedness amount to sharing meaningless links on Telegram or Signal, nonsensical conspiracy theories and wasting your time handing out bumper stickers or flyers. What is a group? Really? A group of friends that hunt together and eventually deciding to take things to the next level if something happens? A group of 'Preppers' that understand this can't be done alone? A group of neighbors that banded together because of Covid - realizing it was more beneficial to be together? Is that the extent of it?
In this presentation I'll be exploring angles of groups from a different lens rather than conventional or traditional perspectives. This will be an open platform discussion - questions, answers and stories - engaging with the audience. In addition to existing challenges I'll also like to discuss alternative ways of thinking and approaching mutual assistance groups but more importantly, solutions.
