About me:
I'm a student of mycological ecology in my fifth year of study and an avid forager. I'm an expert identifier of fungi as recognized by my peers in the online mycology community, and a volunteer identifier for an international emergency identification service. I work closely with multiple online identification, foraging , and discussion groups, including moderator and admin duties. I'm active in a local London prepper community (Forage City).
About the talk:
I'll be discussing various mushrooms that can be found in Ontario. I will be going over how to tell them from similar mushrooms, where and when to find them, and how to use them. There will be dried specimens of several of the mushrooms i will be covering that will be passed around for inspection, and if time allows, a brief question period.
