Refunds and Transfers

Refund requests must be sent to the organizers in writing. Refund timing is measured from the scheduled start date of the event.

• More than 14 days before the event: refund available less a 15% administration/restocking fee.
• 8-14 days before the event: 50% refund available.
• 7 days or fewer before the event: no refunds.
• Tickets are transferable if you contact the organizers before the event with the new attendee details.

Refunds can only be returned through supported payment methods and may be subject to processing timelines or fees imposed by third-party payment providers.

Event Changes

Preppers Meet may adjust schedules, instructors, vendors, activities, locations within the venue, facilities, start times, or program details when required by weather, safety, attendance, instructor availability, venue requirements, operational needs, or circumstances beyond the organizers' control.

The organizers will make reasonable efforts to communicate meaningful changes, but changes do not automatically create a right to a refund unless required by law or expressly stated by the organizers.

Attendance and Outdoor Conditions

Preppers Meet is an outdoor, campground-based event. Attendees are responsible for preparing for changing weather, sun, rain, insects, uneven ground, mud, smoke, limited utilities, limited food availability, and other normal outdoor conditions.

You are responsible for your own clothing, food, water, medication, camping equipment, transportation, personal property, children, pets, and guests. Please review the venue information, camping details, event rules, and any arrival instructions before coming to the property.

Safety and Conduct

Attendees must behave respectfully toward other attendees, staff, volunteers, instructors, vendors, neighbours, and venue representatives. Harassment, threats, unsafe conduct, theft, vandalism, excessive intoxication, illegal activity, or refusal to follow staff direction may result in removal from the event without refund.

Participation in workshops, demonstrations, camping, and outdoor activities involves inherent risks. You are responsible for assessing your own ability, asking questions, using appropriate safety equipment, and choosing whether to participate.

Vendors, Instructors, and Activities

Vendor, instructor, presenter, workshop, and activity listings are subject to change. Individual vendors, instructors, and presenters are responsible for their own products, services, claims, demonstrations, advice, and compliance with applicable laws.

Inclusion in the event does not mean the organizers endorse every product, method, opinion, or service offered by a third party. Attendees should use their own judgment before purchasing products or relying on instruction.

Photography and Media

Photography, video, and audio may be captured at the event by organizers, media, attendees, vendors, or presenters. By attending, you acknowledge that you may appear in event media used for documentation, promotion, social media, websites, advertising, or future event materials.

If you have a specific privacy concern, please contact the organizers before the event or speak with staff on site. The organizers will make reasonable efforts to respect practical privacy requests, especially involving children, but cannot guarantee control over media captured by third parties.

Privacy and Communications

We collect information you provide when you buy tickets, register, subscribe, contact us, apply as a vendor or presenter, or otherwise communicate with Preppers Meet. This may include your name, email address, phone number, order details, attendance information, and any message details you choose to send.

We use this information to process orders, manage attendance, respond to questions, operate the event, send event updates, handle safety or access needs, and share relevant Preppers Meet communications. You may contact us to update your information or ask to stop receiving non-essential marketing communications.

Payments and Third-Party Providers

Ticket purchases and online payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. Those providers may collect and process payment information under their own terms and privacy policies. Preppers Meet does not store full payment card numbers on this website.

We may also use common website, email, analytics, hosting, ticketing, payment, or communication tools to run the event and website. Information may be processed by those services as needed to provide their functions.
